Dr. Danielle Sudler, DNP, PMHNP-BC
My name is Danielle (she/her) and I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner having earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from UNCW. I am a certified Perinatal Mental Health provider and have completed advanced training for medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders.
Trove Mental Health is the result of my passion for mental health. This passion began at a young age when I witnessed untreated mental illness causing distress and hardship for those around me. This experience inspired me to dedicate my career to dispelling myths and eliminating stigmas associated with mental illness while assisting those who are struggling by providing a safe space where they can enhance their resilience.
My approach to mental health care is one where a strong therapeutic relationship leads to vulnerability, growth, and healing for the client. I respect that when a person is struggling it can be difficult to take a single step much less run the marathon of life. Redistributing and even lifting the heaviness caused by mental distress is something we can do together.
I look forward to supporting you in your mental health journey. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I have personal and professional experience providing affirming care to those who identify as LGBTQIA, neurodiverse individuals, parents of individuals with special needs, and those practicing ethical non-monogamy.
